People:WIFE AND MYSELF
Duration: AFTERNOON
Tide: UP
Weather: MIXED SUN SHOWERS
Bait: LURES AND MACK
Rigs: LURES AND A 3 HOOK FLAPPER
Results: 9 LANCE 9 MACKEREL 3 POLLOCK 6 COALIES AND DOG DOG DOGS
Report:
Down to my usual mark to get out the house. Wife was wanting to test her new Bass rod out and the wane wasnt well so she sat under a poncho at the side.
Day started with a lance a cast but then after 5, nothing for ages the a hit a couple of coalies. I tried everything from float to red tails but nothing for a few hours, but then put a lure on and we hit mackerel, AT LAST. but as fast as they came they left again and thats was it for another hour until i hit a nice pollock and a few more mackerel and lance.
i decided to use the mackerel i brought so i they out a trace and it was dog after dog talking two out of the three baits at a time. must have been really hungry but couldnt get a double???
Still very slow fishing but hope it pics up with a late showing of fish.
PS
PLEASE CAN PEOPLE FISHING NOT JUST THE MARKS I FISH BUT ALL MARKS TO TAKE THIER RUBBISH AND LINE HOME WITH THEM.
The rock mark i fished sunday and the blue pools i visited on sat had rag bags, loads of line hook packets and feather packets.Three years running i have taken it home because people cant be bothered.
The farmer also clears it up as it blows up onto the grass and his sheep and cows swollow it. |

great session you hsd there mate, nice pics too. totally agree about rubbish being left behind by inconsiderate anglers......no exscuse for it at all, lazyness, just utter lazyness, i mean, what does it take to put a bit of rubbish in your bag and take it home with ya. |
