Sorry keith i can't make this one. I lose my job sometime this week because the company is going into liquidation so i won't get any redundancy for about a month.If by the slim chance i'm workin i'll try and make it. |

I,m booking a spot at Valley of the rocks for the whole weekend .

Hi Keith, as ive said, it would have to be a weekend for me, i cant do it in one day without risking an accident. Other than that plus radiotherapy im good to go hopefully.
PS, I just checked, and if i have radiotherapy on the 11th and 15th, i,m going to be a wee bit poorly for a few weeks after it. I can only try to get a lift, or see how i feel, but i deffo cant drive both ways on the same day. I will ask mark my nephew if hes up for it.  |

i'll be in touch mate just depends on funds more than anything else. With having a company car for about 8 years the shock 0f some of the insurance quotes knocked me sideways :-& got 8 years ncd and was getting quote from 800-2000 quid  just found one for just over 500 so looks like i'll be taking that one.

Unless more interest is shown then I'm afraid it will be just a meet and not a comp.
If Folk can't be bothered to put their names down then I can't be bothered arranging things.
Shame for those who are keen and those that always attend no matter what but there it is. It's little wonder that more members don't arrange comps and meets when they get such a poor response as this.
I will be going as it will be a day out for my lads. I stated earlier that I wouldn't be arranging anymore but against my better judgement I was persuaded to arrange this one.
A very grumpy, peed off and fed up Rabbi

OK Chaps, The Comp is called off due to the lack of interest shown. I will be fishing Holyhead Breakwater on Sunday the 17th and if anyone just wants to meet up your welcome.
The lack of interest has done me a favour and has saved me running around like a B.A.F. getting prizes, taking pics, measuring fish and all the other headaches that goes into the organising.
I am definitely not going to arrange anymore comps as I intend to get some serious fishing in for myself and family.
This will give me a chance to get out on my small boat for a spot of estuary fishing on nice calm warm days.

Dont blame you Rabbi,folk only use forums to get info of whats fishing,hardly any post reports etc
Looking at the last few meets you had theres only small packets of folk that are interested in participating...
Looking foward to all the boat fishing reports from the Fylde coast from you
