Hi everyone

I took myself of to St Clements church West Thurrock yesterday by the Proctor & Gamble factory. I fished between the two jetties right behind the factory, only fished for two hours 15.30 till 17.30 the tide came in and shot out so quick.

In that time i had 7 fish, 6 flounder best 110z and an eel at 12oz most of these fish came in the last half hour as the water ebbed caught the last 2 flounder in 6 inches of water it was a rush to try and beat the tide going out as there were still fish about. Great fun for just 2hours tide was 5,6m but one minute it was there then it was gone,

All fish were caught on lug and rag, if anyone goes there to give it a go be careful of parking, i parked outside Proctor & Gamble and i dont think they like it as i came back to my car with a note telling this is not a parking area i was not blocking anyone but just be careful.

Hi HPOW

I parked outside the gate off the road not blocking anyone as the three parking bays were full. Where i parked there was room for three cars as we all got a note. I suppose next time it would be best to ask at the gate. The problem is you set out to fish a venue and when you get there and the parking is difficult and you dont want to go on to another venue because time is against you with tides etc you will park anywhere.

Enjoyed the venue maybe some sole will appear here soon.
