well i was planning on fishing hayling on wednesday . but with the weather taken a down turn tonight , i opted to fish today instead . got to hayling just after 6am . the sea was flat calm and not a breath of wind , but chilly with clear blue skys . plan was to fish at range with a pully wishbone and a 2 hook loop rig . both armed with lug and rag and white rag . was a lovley start to the day . eccles popped down for a while . dropped of a head light for me . was nice meeting richard . but no bites , then just before midday had a small rattle on the loop rig , picked up and straight away felt heavy . then out pooped this from what little surf there was
Image
a nice 1lb12oz plaice ,took lug tipped with white rag , very nice . then about half hour later the wishbone tapped away which produced another plaice of arond 8ozs . then a while later pulled in a scopion fish .
then the wind started to pick up from the south . then i had a good bite again on the loop rig . which produced this

a very , very nice 2lb10oz plaice , took again lug tipped with white rag . that was it then , nothing else apart from a tan ..............................................................

suprise Very nice! Well done! I have got to get out there now! I notice your using white rag, can you get that from Paiges fishing tackle? I have never asked. Would love to give it a try. What sort of price is it? You have me psyched, going to get out as soon as I can. Would that be groin 30 way?
