has there been any progress on the pier.

i spoke to metcalfes walton and dean in clacton and they both tell me that
the spratts are or have thinned out and whiting and coddling have turned up.... is this true kiss kiss kiss kiss

ps im fishing on the pier this weekend for the saturday/sunday midnight tide and possible sunday afternoon...[/b]

hi mate
we tried it a few weeks ago after getting told that the codling had turned up,
we popped into metcalfs who confirmed this
the only thing was, someone forgot to tell the codling !!!!!!!!
me and lenny had a very poor days fishing

i wish you all the luck for this weekend iherd things are starting to improve slowly havent done walton since early jan i do miss it lets hope its going to get better look forward to your report
