report of my weekends fishing

was dying to get out and try out my new rods this weekend. Picked up 100 lug for the weekend. was eager to say the least

On friday i fished from 1030pm till around 4 am. Estuary was dead calm and it was not too cold.my total for this night was 9 school bass, 1 whiting and 2 flounders. none were keepers but my new rods where christened on the first outing which was nice. Mate next to me has big flounder and a few smaller flounders. i keep on reading reports of people blanking so the night was quite eventful

Off i went again saturday and fished 11pm till 4am again. much choppier than friday but the sea wall protected us from the wind. my total was not as good as friday as i expected it to be better. 6 fish on total the best being a school bass of 11". And a very very small flounder. it was prob around 3" smallest line caught flounder ive seen

Good on ya Buttonz,

sounds like you had quite an active night in the Friday.

I was gona take a look down there myself in the next couple of weeks so

maybe we can meet up down there,

as for daylight fishing at the Point, over the next couple of months it will

probably very poor from past experience but always worth a go.

Tight Lines,
