got on pier late due to snow on the roads, it take me to do a 20min drive nearly 3hrs so got on the pier about 11ish. result was a big fat o not even a bite, 2 blokes fishing above me court 1 codling about 1- 1 half lb so wot my mate said to me the other day was there was a big shoale of sprats inshore of felixstowe so i bet the cod etc are now in mid water after tho sprats.

Blimey, the Sprat's are here bloody early then lets hope you are wrong about

that cos otherwise it's no cigar for the Cod season worried worried worried

yer they are early i or so heard of reports from boats from orford talking about cod etc coughing up sprats, if boat comp gets called off ive got a place booked sunday out of mersea so i will take a look a fish finder on way out.

na was going with lee bolingbroke out of brightlingsea, ive just pulled out due to today boat comp result being s... so dont want to waste £55 to catch yting. i spoke to scott after comp about 7.30pm he said they had only 4 codling and hand full of yting today

was out of west mersea today on razorbill,not very good at all 11 very small cod to 13 rods out 3keepers just and those big yting seem to have gone missing to! very worrying

welll least u you saw a cod mate, fishing has died off a bit but hoply well pick up after christmas. when you out again with stuart? ive got a offshore trip with scott on the 27th december a long 12hrs trip,,,, think there still 1 space cost£65
