COWES fishing report 23rd november

hi there went to cowes for a few hours the other week and seeing as there isnt any recent catch reports for the island i thought id make a start, got to EGYPT point fishing the flood onwards. got there just before dark, 30 minutes in my 1st bites (on both rods) missed one but the other rod pulled up a 21" bass. i then had another bite half hour later in which i missed. nothing till after high tide when pulled up a small pouting half hour into ebb, and a small pollack 1 hour and a half into the ebb.

also went on the 8th dec to shanklin and fished the flood till high tide, there were 2 others fishing there (5 rods) and nothing was caught. was very choppy there so i expected more, maybe the netting problem in the bay had something to do with this.
