Just about the same on Hayling at the moment mate - have fished the last two nights rising tides with only one small whiting to show for it. I think we have reached that time of year again and it will go virtually dead until April. Most of the big bass have disappeared off to breed as they do at this time of year, the whiting will soon be following them and the plaice have already gone. Might get the odd decent codling occasionally but that is about it until April in my experience. Roll on the spring and the return of the plaice and bream! |

hi it seems like it was just a bad day if its quite blowy there i never catch on sun the 20th i went on a fishing comp with the gosportdac and it seems to be that the creeks are the best bet to go. you could also try hardway. dave from daves tackle went there and he had a few flounders. if you need any ideas go in there and ask |

i fished their a few week ago and found some cod, but they where 150-200yards out. Try squid and mackrel on a pulley pennel rig and really blast it out. I had no close close in either.
