Newbie to the group and beach fishing. Tried to join ages back but nothing happened but here we are!

3 of us (me, wife and father in law) had a week at Kessingland in june where we all caught some bass from an hour before to about 2 hours after high tide. No monsters but since it was our first time we were dead chuffed. Dead easy to get to, we rented a chalet just above the beach! All on Rag or Lug. Nothing on mackerel or squid.

Hoping to get across to the Mablethorpe beaches and Grimsby/Humber to gain more experience soon. Any advice very welcome.

Hi Ian, and a warm welcome!
I'm in Lincs too (Grimsby infact). Come the warmer weather I'll be out again (can't stand the cold!). Maybe we can plan a session?

Si
