when you go fishing on an afternoon with the view to staying late, allways check the batteries in ya head lamp, not like me went out fishing about 3 pm got dark went to use head lamp batteris flat |

Don't worry. The other night on Walton Pier I couldn't remember if I'd charged my headlamp or not and I took a chance. Thirty minutes in, total darkness. My lamp has a saftey cut out to protect the battery and you don't get any warning that it's going. Fortunately I always carry a small LED headlamp as a back up, but it's nowhere near as bright. At least I now know that I've got to charge my main light. |
