I can see you all getting bored of these reports so ill keep it simple haha haha fished there last night with steve sandm and steve 1976 , fished from 4.30 untill 6.30 am this morning omg , had a cracking take early on on a whole big whiting , that took me underneath and snapped 60 lb leader like cotton omg steve 1976 had his first livebaited bass coming in at 4lb 2 0zs cracking fat billy ..................
steve sandm then had a wannabe of about 1 lb snaffle a live pout lol , the rest of the night was very quiet with next to nothing happening at distance , lots of interest all night on the live baits , and then at first light i had a right old rod bending run . bent the uptider right over , alas missed it again , oh well winters coming and it was bloody freezing last night , but a great night to be out yet again .

Still dont know how you do it mate ..... i fished there last night with paul , had couple of doggies , a nice plaice in daylight and at last i got my town quay sole , only 27 centimeters , but my sole blank has been broken.
Tried live baits all night with three lads next to us....NOTHING , not even a knock ?
I targeted sole and got one...next time im after bass and bass alone.
Cheers mate

Town Quay is in southampton , its a car park on water , sticks out a couple of hundred feet with a path down each side.....if u fish it turn up EARLY to get a space , its a popular spot at weekends.
