hi yer chris, went out last of the ebb about 7ish.bit blowy, but treked to the far side of the sandbank, wind behind me.the only signs of fish was a shoal of mullet in the shallows .tried a few blood worm patterns but no luck.was going to meet up with simon on the following ebb a bbit later ,but simon couldnt make it.which wasnt abad thing as the winds did pick up .good to get out thougth.winds look a bit more favourable later in the week .

Well done for getting out and having a go Mick, hasn't exactly been a good summer for it so far with all this wind that's been plagueing us.
I haven't managed any swffing for ages, and have been Coarse fishing instead. Would love to get some in before the season's out, let's hope that wind does drop enough later this week!

Hi Wighty. Good to see you're still alive and kicking.
Must plan a get together for Pagham next month, perhaps you can make it over?
Dust off the cooker Mick! |

Ok Mick, black pudding is on the shopping list.
Mullet are leading me a merry dance Tom, hooking plenty but the little beggars keep getting off or snapping me. Introduced two fine fellows from the other forum to the art of Mulleteering on Sunday and one landed a nice 4lb fish under difficult conditions. Read all about it in the November issue.
Be nice if you could make it Chris, will try and sort the weather out. A day like the one we enjoyed on the island would be spot on. |
