I am going to Turkey again this year and whilst there last year tried a bit of fishing like the locals - managed a few Mullet not very big - the system seemed to be a string of hooks attached to a tube of polystyrene bread was wrapped around the poly and held in place by the hooks - a running ledger and hey presto a quick cast and the bread/hooks and poly floats to the surface to be attacked by hundreds of little mullet, no skill is required and hope the activity attracts the interest of something bigger. has anyone out there any advice on how to catch the bigger fish as getting any bread thru the little ones is impossible

I would try one of the floating carp swimfeeders(cage type with red polystyrene top for bouyancy)sliding on the mainline between two stops and a swivel on end of mainline to attach short hooklength to.Bait the hook with artificial breadflake(stays on longer if small fish are a pest)and make a mix for the feeder of mashed bread and a tin of tuna in oil to attract the fish.Have had loads of carp using this method and also good results with sea fish like mullet.Hope its some help anyway,Mick
