I'm going up to Kirkcaldy next month, i would like some info on good sea venues within 20 miles and a short walk. Also going out on a boat any info on rigs would be helpful, thanks

Hi there,
I can't quite speak from experience regarding shore stuff on the Fife side but I've fished the Forth from a boat plenty.

There is a good mark directly out about 1/2 a mile from Granton, it's supposed to be a hole/ledge?....the best way to find it from your side might be to line yourself up between Kircaldy & Granton?

Most hokai, muppet & feather rigs work as does a small boom flowing trace type rig

Sadly though, imo the fishing in the Forth is nowhere as good as it used to be but what can we do? sad

Best Regards, Andy
