Looking to book a boat on Loch Etive first week in August fished out of Oban on a charter before but not on Loch Etive. Just looking for any marks or Info to head for with the boat? also any Info on rigs bait ect that are effective would help also?

check out previous Etive posts - bait maccy and sqiud , running ledger for thornies and hookais with maccy for spurs tie up past the quarry ( 3 orange bouys ) any of them fishes well on the flood for pollack ,cod gunnard ect ,go south down the loch to the fish farms and tie uo on one of the grey bouys for loads of spurs on high tide and ebb ,drift at the mouth of the river for sea trout -hope this helps -I will be there for a week from 25 july and we have a forum meet on the loch sat 27th Aug - if you can let us know if you want to join us - Pm me for boat hire number- Steve |
