hi everyone, well my daughter and i fished dunseveric earlier in the rain and along comes a white boat called dunseveric in blue writing. The old man and a boy in his 20s first drive over one line and then put a lobster pot on top of the other. i shouted at them and asked what the hell are you playing at, your onto of my line and the old git said sod your line.
So i packed up and went round to the pier where they were taking the boat out and i jumped out and had it out with them. They said they didnt know, and how they will move the pots. both of them trying to play it down and be all nice because they didnt thinK i would do anything. The only thing that saved them was my daughter being there.
I have never sen such cheak in my life and it takes alot to really break me to want to hit someone.
Any way there are now pot round dunseveric some you can see ad some under the water
look out for this boat and that pair.
i am now checking that they have the right to fish for lobster. |

Probably not much you can do Nick. I have a few problems with a local potter or two, they are themost ignorant people on earth.
They aren't all the same though. there are a few who give me information and sightings.
Your fishing there will be finished until they lift the pots as there is a large rope that strings all the pots together and nine times out of ten you will get snagged on the retrieve.
Unfortunatley the way they see it they are struggling to make a living while you are just there for a bit of fun.
One of the best wrasse marks in the West has been destroyed by a potter collecting potbait 5lb+ Ballans and Triggers must make a great lobster bait.

i can understand your anger denny. wht do potters have to come so close to the shore when they have the whole sea to work with. sometimes i think its just out of pure cheek. many a time ive lost lures and rigs to them dam ropes. |
