The end is nigh

Hi, this post is just to let you all know, i will be offline indefinitely 30 days from today. Ive had a great time on here, meeting the lads, and going camping etc, but quite simply for financial reasons, i have to give up the internet etc. I still have 30 days left before they pull the plug, so will continue to do what i can until then. it also means Rabbi2 will be stuck with the comp in sept, so if anyone can lend him a helping hand, i'm sure he would bite it off. Oh, the reason i'm letting you know now is, i have a real memory problem, and if i leave it nearer the time, i guarantee i will forget how many days have passed, and suddenly find i'm cut off and cant explain. Cheers guys for a very entertaining few years, hopefully i will still get to see some of you out and about. Cheers..Mick

Mick who are you with now? talktalk are offering phone and broadband 18.48 a month i don't know if that helps or not mate.

Hi Joli, me too, but i finally have to admit defeat, Rabbi has known this was coming for a while, but being an eternal optimist i hoped things would get better, they havnt. I'm going to keep a spinning rod, so i can still have the odd session on days out etc, but for the most part, my fishing days are over too. Cheers..Mick

As you lads may be aware Mick and myself have been mates ever since joining the forums and go fishing together whenevr we can. To say that Im gutted is an understatement but I have known for some time that Mick was struggling to keep his head above water, but things have hit him one after another. Fishing was his main interest and being on the forums passed time for him. Who was it who said lightening dont stike in the same place and things can only get better? (Cobblers) Mick has done his best to keep an interest in the forums and to help others whenever possible and if he does disappear, he will be sorely missed. crying

Mick pm me your addy and ill send you an upto date 3g wireless internet dongle complete with at least 6 months free unlimited internet winking

once this has expired simply contact 3g and ask for a pay as you go sim card , then just top up as and when you have the wonga , this may get your heart back into fishing big grin

Hi, thanks lads, i'm going to miss being here, Ive struggled to keep on fishing, and keep the internet since my wife died. In a strange way now the decisions made and acted on, i feel a great sense of relief. Cuckoo, thats a really nice offer, but would only delay the inevitable, its going to be 3 years or more before i can even consider starting again. And of course theres my health problems, as keith knows i struggle to get to most venues now. I will only have my moby in 30 days, so for anyone who hasnt got it. 07780952722 If anyones going anywhere during summer give me a shout, i might make the odd occasion.
