i have a rough idea, but can anyone clarify what te numbers attatched to reel names actually means?
or s it completely random?

if its the numbers like-60 ,70 ,6000, 7000 then its the size of the reel. 60 and 6000 would be the same(i think).
if it the numbers like 5.3:1 or 4.8:1 then its the amount of times the spool turns with every full turn of the reel so 5.3:1, the spool would turn 5.3 times every time you wound the handle a full turn |

think my questin migt be a bit ambiguos....
by numbers i'm refering to for example, the 7000, 6000, 4000..... size spools, what is a size 7000 compared to a 4000?
and isit the same with f/s vs multies
