managed to purchase bait from online, now just for the other issues...

im going to be fishing blackpool south shore this weekend eitha on sat or sunday not sure as yet, its the 1st tym ive fished it. what rigs to use etc.

are there any spots better than others? casting distances? any info would be good

Not one of my favourite spots but lugworm and macky should suffice as for rigs I would suggest a 3 hook flapper but use size 1s hooks or 1/0s. Look for gullys before high water and fish these for the flatties.

One quick note plenty of weaver are about so take care.

cheers rabbi where are other good places to fish ?? i drive so nt really fussed anywer up or down that coast area would be great

Fleetwood cadet base, Behind the Baths oposite the central window at the back, also Blue Bridge with a short rod for flatties and eels.

Further affield is Arnside either from the pier or near the coastguard station.

Further still is Whithaven pier (one of my favourite spots.)

Smoothound, doggies, dabs ,place showing at north pier. same at south shore but also bass there as well. Use pully rig with eel squid raps, for hounds as far as you can cast it. The bass have been coming in very close, find the gullys for the flatties lug taking the bass and flatties. Not much on crab. The Rays should be showing but none come out as yet as far as I know. Hope that helps mate

arrived early thinking tide would be on its way in but
was wrong nt a good start its windy as hell sand blowing everywer but one gd thing the suns out. Bout an hr till can start fishing grrrreat
