I will be down in Devon in the Summer again for my annual holiday and will, like previous years, take my rod and go fishing early morning. I fly fish for bass and have not had any from this area in the past couple of years. Can anyone help?? |

Thanks Simon for your input!!
Mick....been going there for about twenty five years on and off and know the area very well. I had heard there had been illegal gill netting going on at the harbour entrance and indeed there are a lot less fish there now than there used to be. I used to catch on spinning sandeels but now have switched to the fly and have not caught since.
Anybody else heard anything about the gill nets?
Are the bass still there?
Help please.
Thanks.
Tom. |
