Couple of wee sessions out after a fairly long lay off.
Fished Elliot Beach Saturday 1st may, felt mor elike November...freezing
Started brightly with 2 decent flounders of just over the 1lb mark, then nothing for the rest of the day..it used to always get better as the tide came i, but the beach sems to be getting more pebbly every year.
Fished Anstruther pier Monday with my son and produced a total blank, very snaggy, lost 3 or 4 hooks to weed, but not a bite all afternoon/early evening.
Hopefully Pollack & bigger flatties will start arriving soon and the odd cod will turn up...need to get back on the rocks now I`m feeling better. |
