Hi,
Popped out in a kayak today around the harbour lovely conditions with a few fish caught.
Nothing happening in the shallows.Deep channels on the ebb were productive though.
Sinking line cast uptide and dead drifted,Black clouser was getting hit constantly with the white/olive DNA erratic.
All returned .....which was nice.
Then i lost my van key on the beach.
Cheers

Well done Mr bassfly. Was the successful fly the black Clouser I tied for you?
Did you find your keys? If not I will bring the metal detector along next weekend |

Having lost a few items on the beach over the years, I now do the same as Henry Gilbey and keep stuff on a lanyard hung around my neck or tied on my belt. That way you can easily get at it when needed but you won't accidently drop and loose it. Forceps and de-hooker are round my neck and my wonderful Opinel lock knife is tied on my belt with keys and stuffed in trouser pocket. |
