Near freezing temps and they are out their trying to catch a fish big grin

COLD ?........ Don't mention cold.
I got hypothermia at least ten times last night at Orford.
It was so cold I was selling coffee on a stck.

Top Tips For Cold Weather.
1,
No matter how cold you are, DO NOT attempt to build a fire in a kayak! You can't have your kayak and heat it too.

2,
Never spit when you're facing a cold Arctic wind - you could take your eye out!

3,
Sometimes ice crystals in the atmosphere make things appear differently than they actually are. This is not an optical illusion - it just looks like one.
We explained this to 'Rocket', who thought he had caught a cod.

4,
If you wake up breathing on Orford Island, congratulations - you didn't freeze to death! You get another chance to fish on

Our supplies just arrived here in at Orford, and we're wondering - why is it that when you transport something by car, it's called a shipment, but when you transport something by ship, it's called cargo?

Cold? It was bitter! I think the worst was about 4 ish this morning. The view along the beach of rods bobbing gently on their own while their owners hid in shelters, scenes of Gingerangler and Lee desperately trying to start a fire while bond tried to put it out (they used his shelter as kindling. Unfortunately he was still inside!!) :lol: :lol:
