hiya guys/gals fished portishead marina today caught 2 flattys 1 was about 1.5lbs the other was bigger and much darker cant decide if its a dab , flounder , plaice or what the other was defo a flounder cus of the lat line but really struggling with this it was bob on 2 lb both caught on rag tipped with squid 3 hook patternoster ANY HELP MUCH APPRECIATED CHEERS trying to post pics but strugling to add them help please |

definately a flounder mate easy way to tell the three apart dabs are rough all over, flounder are rough on the lateral line when rubbed from tail to head and plaice are smooth. |

cheers buddy i caught 2 the other was smaller but ver light brown in colour with with the lat line bent .....( around the head with bright red spots is this the same fish just male and female or was the smaller one a different species ? |
