Went out with Lurcherman in his boat up the Itchen this afternoon, just to see if anything was about and to give the Mylar Sand Eel and a few other new flies a bit of a swim. We motored up from Priory Rd slip right up to Woodmill, saw nothing at all apart from the ladies rowing teams...... On the plus side, the flies swim great, the Eel maybe needs a little bit of weight built in to the head, I'll sort that out when I go back home.....All in all nice afternoon out, thanks Glyn happy

I'll be at HH at about 7:30 ish in the morning, dressed for the occasion in a Hair Shirt under my chest waders just to compound the misery of fishless ness....If anyone fancies a chuck you know where I'll be.
Cheers Dave

Bet the ladies rowing team felt intimidated when they saw you fine pair of atheletes afloat winking .
If you are still down in the sunny south next weekend Dave, give me a shout if you are venturing out.
Cheers
Col.
