Edgey, You might like to try near the funfair (end of beach road) or Inn on the Beach - turn west at the end of Beach Road and the look for the sign which says Beachlands. At both locations you can park almost on the beach at this time of year for free and we were doing quite well until the weather went quiet and the easterly wind came in - whiting, dabs and bass. After this storm has gone by we will have another go - nothing like a good blow to liven things up. I am talking night fishing of course my friend.
