hi im hoping to try a bit of fly fishing from my kayak in the spring summer for mackys/bass etc and would like to know which flies/line etc would be best.
i dont plan on becoming a full time SWFFer but would like to give it a go as an alternative to spinning.
i live in Pembrokeshire and will be targetting the fish in shallow to medium water in rocky coves/bays (mainly clearish water).
any advice on patterns/techniques etc will be greatly appreciated confused
cheers
Phill

Hi,
If your paddling out in a kayak i dont think you can beat a DNA clouser in olive and white or a Gurgler fly for some awesome top action takes.
Bin the spinning rod!
Good luck in the coming season.
Cheers
Simon

I would invest in some yellow and white Deceivers as well, for those extremely rare days when the sparse Clouser doesn't deliver.
Best of luck and keep us inforumed.
