decided at last minute this morning to go round to makro's. roads still icy in places, and when getting round there, found i was the only one there. just took one rod with me, plus tackle box. weather was cold and sunny,but when that wind picked up, temp dropped like a stone.
bait used was worms and squid. but alas caught nothing, blanked in other words, thoughs i was getting bites, but turned out to be weed, after 4 hrs decided to come home as fingers where getting numb.
dont think i'll be out again till the new yr, as not sure when tackle shop will have any fresh bait.l |

Not to worry martyn, at least you had a go. were out tomorrow at fleetwood, hopefully we might catch something worth writing about. Hope you have better luck next time. cheers..Mick |
