Cardiff foreshore is diffrent jacko69. You don't need a licence...more of a permit I think. I'm not 100% on this but a group of anglers struck up a deal with the harbour authorities. They have insured themselves for... if I remember correctly..15 pounds a year. |

yes this is correct you need a permit as thia is for insurance purposes and you can get a permit from penarth tackle shops but i also beleive you have to be a member of the penarth fishing cub this does not allow you to drve your car through the harbor you still have to walk along the beach a cost of £15.00 for the year |

Hi lads. 15 quid a year.its a permit. 10 quid is insurance, the fiver is for the permit. you cannot take cars down there, you have to park by the heliport.the abp have agreed to this. but as yet its still in the process of being sorted.once everything is agreed it will be ready to go.you need to have your passport photo on your permit. once i find out more i will let you know.anyone without a permit can be arrested or thrown off, even heard of gear being confiscated. hope this helps.poach? |

its the same in liverpool on the alex and gladstone wall you have to take ID proof of residence ,insurance details and be a member of a fishing club to get a permit of MDHC plus i think you can only drive in an need the log book and insuraance details for vehicle which gets a permit.
cheers Paul |
