Hi all,
I am looking at puchasing a new rod in the year and have looking at the Zziplex M4, the Conoflex Nemesis and the Century Kompressor S. I will teaming the new rod with a CT Mag. What are you thoughts on these rods and are there any others in this range that will offer the same standards with distances etc. It is a lot of money to spend so i want to get it right and chhose a rod that will see me through for many years.
Thanks

Blimey, I just looked up the rods you mentioned, at those prices I would expect the rods to grow arms and legs and do the fishing for you, and do it well.
As the saying goes , you get what you pay for so at those prices you'll be getting quality.
Seeing as my most expensive rod is an abu boat rod that cost me £60 I'm obviously not in your league or in a position to give you advise but I'm sure someone will soon. |

I also have 2 CccLd's and agree they are suited to pendulum casting, I also have 2 Zziplex M4 Evo's and they are even better suited to my style of pendulum. The M4 is better with 5 oz leads and the Ld's with 6oz.
As to which if any would suit you, it depends entirely on your casting technique. The AFAW 6 and bait is a very underated rod and also well worth a look as it is capable of putting baits a long way also. |
