Walked on at the woods last nights tide caught a 3lb coddling, crab activity was a bit rough but not as bad as a week ago. Mate got one a few hundered yards east of me close to the jetty, no one else at that end but noticed a light over at the east side of the barrier near the power station. Mabe the rain put a few off. Not saying they are here as yet but caught so that has to be good. |

I went for a scout down the wall tonight took the dogs kids the lot, tried every type of bait , off bay 7 got plenty of crab activity and not a sniff until it got dark, got in two whiting to 1 1/2lbs on macky squid wraps. Not sure if any others were caught. plenty of people on the wall both woods end and to the east, think a lad on bay 4 had a couple of fish same time as me, but not sure about that. No cod tonight well not for me anyway . |
