Having moved up from Sussex a few years back it's taken a while for me to get my sea gear out and try the some of the North East marks, in the last month or so i've had a play at Roker, Seaham and Horden a couple of times.
It was nice down at Horden today, with a fair few fishing and i even had the bonus of a flattie big enough for the plate (which the missus has just devoured) The beaches are very different to the shingle beached i'm used to down on the Channel, but it's a challenge with plenty to learn.
So if you bump into a balding cockernee, it may just be me |
