Just a quick question about replacing the eyes/guides on my rod.
I have recently been given a 9ft, 3 piece pier rod and the eyes are totally buggared and so I want to replace them, obviously I could take it into a shop but as I don't need it urgently, thought I would give it a go myself.
Question is, how do I find out the guage/size of the rings I HAVE and how are they measured? 
For example, different brands of line state breaking strain + Diameter but some only state Diameter.
