Thinking of going off clacton pier tommorrow, anyone know if it will be worth the £5 you have to pay.

I went off clacton sea front on sat not even a knock. yet a guy who was crabbing down from me got a nice bass !!!!!!!!!!!! explain that. i was even using lug that i had dug myself that morning.

not a happy teddy bear

Will give a report if any good though

you would be better off going to walton pier mate in my opinion much better fishing for 5quid

i was in walton tackle shop the other day and the bloke said codling have been showing up already,i had loads of bass a few weeks back using feathers and lures around the pier legs near lifeboat station best doing that at low water though i found,a few whiting have been caught as well but like everywhere its better at night good luck mate big grin
