as any one fished around mapelton in the last week and what is comming out at the moment and what are the best tides for that area thinking of going in the the next week or so

try and get there just before the tide starts to make so u can get a good sent trail down and fish it all the way up and over 1 hour, if its calm try marckrel for the thornys or tip off with any oily fish that seems to work for me.. good luck mate and post if u do any good happy

Only ever fished Mapleton once and caught 3 decent sized Whiting, never paid any attention to the tide or wind conditions but the venue itself does have the benefits of the Car Park and Public Loos at the get down.

Probably will try it again this Winter at some point but I never hear of many fish being caught around there.
