ive heard lampray can be used as bait so any ideas as to where i can procure some? |

Hi Mbmailler,
I use a fair amount of lamprey when pike fishing. Works an absolute treat for them. Very bloody, oozes the stuff for ages and I guess that means a really good sent trail. Infact, can't believe I've not given it a crack myself as it may be a cracking Bass bait. Also has a skin as tough as old boots so withstands a good chuck.
You can get it in blast frozen sealed packs from tackle shops, mixed in amongst the pike dead baits. Guess it's just down to whether your local shop does. Failing that, there's always the interweb highway.

ive used this bait a few times now and not even the crabs will touch it so i dont think ill be buying any of this in bulk for winter |
