heya everyone, ive had an idea for a rig, iive replaced my sinker with a spinner, wadya you guys think? will it work or not? heres a pic of it that i drew up, its drawn on paint though so expect the worst drawing youve ever seen [/img] |

I dont think a spinner would give you enough weight to cast .What I have used here and in Norway is to use a pirk as they can be purchased with differnet weights ..Had schoolies and macks so far this way .In Norways had cod on pirk and pollack/macks on feathers ..So it does work .. ))))) |

It would be a good setup trolling from a boat prividing you get the spinner of the correct weight, either that or incorperate a weight above the spinner so as to keep it down.

all im thinking is, if youve got feathers AND a spinner, your twice as likely to get a fish haha. crossed fingers though
btw, do you find the colour of your spinner makes much difference to the bites you get? |
