Went to skegness on my two day holiday brake, beautiful weather. Decided to fish a beach about 4 mile away from skegness in Chaple Saint Leonards. Thought this would be a good beach as i had read about it in one of the magazines i read called 'Total Sea Fishing'. Anyway, it was a beautiful day with a slight breeze blowing strainght out to sea. I fished my chosen mark for three hours just as the tide was coming in. Only managed to catch two small weaver fish which i have been told are poisonous. Lots of people fishing and catching these bloody things . Had a few good taps of the rod end but that was it. Just as i was leaving i was told there was a dogfish competition on, and thats why there were so many people fishing. Anyway, it was a great day out and at least i didnt blank!
