Hi peeps, I've not been on much lately, thats due mainly to the fact ive met someone. For the nosey among you shes called Sandra, and lives in a village just outside Lincoln. What has this to do with Spurn point i hear you ask, Well, Im going with Conner to meet Royboy at Spurn for 09.30am for a good days fishing, and from there going down to Sandras with the camping gear and setting it up in her back garden, Thus being able to see her before going home in answer to the next question, Yes, we could sleep in the house, but we were supposed to be on holiday this week, but it had to be cancelled, and we cant make the withernsea meet, so this is his last chance to camp out this year. So this looks like being a nice weekend, shes on the net so if it lets me sign in on hers i will write a report later. Good luck to all out this weekend. Cheers...Mick |

Hi, im back, as roy has already said he caught 11 bass, they were all kamikazes, just throwing themselves onto his hook. At one point he got a double, I caught my first ever bass, so thats another off my catch list, and so did conner, so we went away well happy. As for my camping trip after, that went well too, it was a cracking hot day, and it was breaky and din dins in the garden.
A big thanks to roy for asking us down and putting us in the right spot for catching our 1st bass, Were already planning on going down in the winter for the cod season if roy asks us down.
Cheers...Mick |
