since i had my fall off the rocks i have not been right since i will be giving sea fishing up for while till i gets my self better. when im on my feet again i will be posting more reports. thank you for my welcome here lads been honor.

sorry to hear that. hope you're not too bad. prehaps this should be a message to everyone who fishes off rocks.. we all know the dangers it involves and no matter how much caution or safety is taken, things can still go wrong.

Wednesday 20th May 2009 i was fishing with few mates off the gower rocks the fishing was crap we pack up go fishing the mumbles peir i started walking up the cliff i walked on rock but slip it off 15ft drop straight on my back my mate run to get help took him 3miles couldn't use a phone because the area we was in bad my mate ran to near place get help took hour for coastgard get to my help because it was long way down they couldn't get me up the cliff they had to get the sea king helicopter out get me straight hospital because i was in so much pain so they got me hospital but nothing was wrong lefted me go home. since the fall i been in hospital with the pain i met mickyfinn and his wife at singleton hospital i was in for 6days nothing was found but i had go back last monday for pain killers for my back im still in pain but if the pain gets any worst they going get me a scan i be back on my feet few days i cant wait get back fishing.

Falling 15 feet onto rocks could have been a lot worse. I would count this as a lucky escape. Get well soon mate.

Thank God that you had a mate with you! If you had been on your own we could have been a member down and would have been reading this fishing episode elsewhere.

Get well soon mate, I have an idea of what you are going through as I have arthritus of the spine.
