I have a cunning plan...

For anyone who fancies it, I will be doing a bit of a reccie for a get together over here on the Manhood Peninsula. I just need to check out one or two things - i.e. parking at that time of day for the easiest access.

It will be an early one, as ever, fishing the tide up and in, and then maybe a whip round to south Hayling to fish high tide early afternoon.

Saturday, August 22 looks favourite. I know that's a bit of a way off, but it works best for a Saturday (a howling south-westerly would make it a non-starter though!).

Low tide will be about 7.30am, so I'd suggest around 6.30am to meet up (I'll have a better idea after my reccie). Hopefully a few can make it - and lets hope lots of those fishy things put in an appearance... big grin

I think it got lost in the pipework!

Go down to the bait shop at East Beach, or Raycraft in the High Street - they'll be able to point you in the right direction.

You should get down to the beach more, there are always people down there hurling chunks of lead at France! Pretty much anywhere from East Beach slip to the Bill seems to be fished at high water...especially on the late ones.

No sorry i think i worded that wrong, i can always see people chucking leads but never see people chucking fluff. i live about a 30 second walk from the beach so im always down there having a look and asking people if they have court anything. Im just surprised ive never seen u down there.

Cheers Tim
