well HOOKED i was asking as i had a great night fishing of the pier the other night the weather was fine and i went three hours before ht and fished it all the way back to lw i arrived at 10.30pm and set my first rod up baited up with rag tip with babyspuid on a two hook wishbone rig with 3/0 hooks and lobbed out about 80 to a100 yards and began to set the secound rod up i hadnt even finished threading the line when bang the dam rod nearly got pulled in sure enough when i got in i had to ask a guy on the pier to hold my rod while i handbald the 6 1/2 pound bass up the pier(superb ithought) if i didnt catch anything thing else tonight i was happy anyway
well the night went on with another two bass both of about 4lb ish and 2 gurnard and an impressive stockpile of pollack the job lot weighing about 15 pound the gurnards i threw back as iwasnt sure if you could eat them anyway im going again next fri/sat so hopefully another good report

We are fishing just as well on Hayling mate - 20 bass in a two hour session last week - almost unbelievable. It just happens like that sometimes - back in the summer I took 6 decent size bream in less than an hour one saturday afternoon, I could have had more but had to go home to go shopping with HID (what a waste of time, why do they do it? LOL)
