Fished from 12 to 5pm, using lug and squid on 2 boom paternosters lowered over the side. Fished the first shelter on the north side and caught mackerel once the tide turned (on feathers) and had pouting throughout the day. A bass was caught by another angler off the lower deck on squid.

Great report mate and well done on the fish.

Do you get any sizable wrasse off of the pier? Forgive my ignorance never fished it before confused

I haven't witnessed any sizeable wrasse being caught but that's not to say they aren't there. There have been some smoothhounds recently and thornback rays.

there was a large wrasse came in on the 1st July when i was there from lower deck
going tomorrow!!
