can anyone tell me the best way to fillet Pollack and Bass please and what is the best way to descale the bass
any help would be great thanx :?: |

:idea: Well fish4dave the other part of you post was to DESCALE the BASS, all we do when we catch bass is scrap the knife backward and forwards against the scales exerting a bit of pressure.
The scales then flick off usually with some sticking to the knife the rest flicking everywhere, so best done on the beach..... be careful of the fins on BASS as I am sure you know they are spicky....
:idea: As for the 'Filleting' of the BASS the same method applies as the video link demonstrates on the codling.
