after returning to sea fishing after a v long time i am on the look out for the reel i used to use, i know it was a diawa, think it was a millionaire but i had a leval wind. does any one know , 1, the correct name, 2, are they still available?

Yeah they are great reels. I had a few of em. The reels now that have gone on from those are the Daiwa 7ht's. These are very good reels and when I first got one they were well over one hundred pounds. More recently they have gone down to seventy or eighty quid maybe. If you are quite new to multipliers ( or like you starting over again ) I don't think you can beat the Abu Mag Elites. I use them all the time and as well as centrifrugal braking; you have magnetic breaking also.
I pendulum cast and rarely get snap offs. Not because I spend hours on the reels cos I don't. But a bit of oil in the bearings now and again and magnets set to about four and they behave pretty well. happy Whatever you end up with good luck and tight lines. happy

Forgot to add. the Millionnaire successor that I mentioned above is in the converted format . It has no level wind so that it can be used for power cast styles without the problem of getting your thumb right over the spool.
