Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any tips for winter bass fishing - baits , tackle, methods, places - rocks, beach etc ......
Any information and ideas would be very much appreciated.

the only bass around the shore are scoolies. all the big females have got together and moved out to deep water but you can catch them boat fishing. you will catch small bass all winter from rocky places will always a hope of 1 loose big one!
hope this helps

Bass are hermaphrodites so there is no such thing as a male or female bass. They produce less sperm and more eggs the older they get. |

Bass may hang around and shoal up before moving to deep water to spawn but they have both sperm and eggs. |

I agree with others, chances of decent size bass after the end of November are slim. Best to get some squid, find some deep water and sling it out as far as you can for codling and whiting which are just starting to turn up it seems - not had one meself yet but blokes have pulled a few in at Selsey. |
