I`ve been to Mull fishing once, found the areas around Fhionport/Iona to be fairly productive, beaches are good for flatties, rocks for pollack, one day out of 3 we were plauged by doggies...
Lovely place, pretty much point yourself to the blue stuff and go.... |

Hi tinkerbell welcome to the site.
Its not my home patch up there but I,ve fished up there a lot in the late summer from Oban up to Mallaig, and on Mull in October.
As HBFASH says just about anywhere can produce but my favourite places for pollack are Fionnphort and Port na Ba just beyond Croig near Dervaig, and the shore along from the pier near Quinish house ,also near Dervaig.
Caught them with Tobies and float fished Macky and limpets.
Also try the Falls of Lora between North Connel and Black Crofts (the mouth of Loch Etive), float fished or free lined limpets can get you pollack and Pinky coloured codling of about 2-4 lbs. Fish close in amongst the kelp beds on the flood tide just down from the falls ( Loch side ) for best results.
