yea mate go2 castlerock strand and when on the strand go rigjht to you see the pier and life ring. use crab bait is fishing the bottom and a bass rod with lures either poppers rapalas or wegdes and you catch sea bass sea trout there. at mouth of the estuary you will see the bass riopping along the surface chasing sand eels. good luck and happy fishing.

try in front of the old edgewater hotel at the point hour before an evening hightide ,full tide just as it gets dark, had 28 schoolies in 2 hours spinning with a toby ,or try off the rocks at the start of the strand with sand eels you should get bass,or if you want about a mile out of the port on the portrush road you will see a pumphouse on the golfcourse a sewer pipe goes into the sea there at the blacrock if you dont mind the smell you will have a good chance at an irish record mullet ive had them up to 12lbs there on bread.

A good place is just as you drive onto the beach, either side of the wooden posts. The best time is low tide at night. A simple pulley rig with rag will get them.
