I bought some last year, and this year, numerous colours, the big ones and the smaller 2 inchers. People rave on about how good they apparently are, weapons of 'bass' destruction ..
BUT...ive had 2 pollack on one big orange, and lost count of the small pollack ive had on the smaller ones.
I usualy either troll with them either in an open boat or from a kayak, occasionally fishing them on the drift, almost sink and draw over a reef or ledge - pollack lots of, Bass....erm...no.
Is there a sure fire way to use these? |

| Sorry but i think they are CRAP Bass lures.......................Sorry but there are a lot better lures around.Try some of the new soft jelly lures with a lead head there are hundreds to choose from the soft 'Shads' and sand eel imitations are very good. Have you tried surface lures like the 'Super Spook,Sammy's,Rap plugs ?.You dont catch many Pollock on the surface. |

Yeah, i use a variety of different jellies, usually from a kayak and occassionally on a rock hop. The sandeels are great, redgills, wild eye small mackerals are great for pollack & they do catch Bass aswell. The smaller sidewinders can pick up the mackeral, and then its either shallow or deep divers depending on where we are at the time.
Thanks for the advice though, i'll check in the local shop for them |
